Democrats Attempting to Force Elon Musk Out of Government Role. House Democrats are seeking to oust Elon Musk from the federal government before the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) completely dismantles their money laundering and fraud operations.

A group of Dem lawmakers have mounted a “concerted campaign” to force the Trump administration to send the Tesla/SpaceX CEO and DOGE chief packing by May 30, relying on a US Code requirement that “special government employees” are prohibited from serving more than 130 days. Dems said the Democrats “have legal tools at our disposal, political tools at our disposal,” and the “full force of public pressure,” he added, seeming to suggest that the American people are clamoring for Musk to be removed, instead of continuing to help root out waste and corruption.
