TRUMP: I heard VP Vance’s speech, and he talked about freedom of speech. I think it’s true in Europe. They’re losing their freedom of speech… and he talked about immigration. Europe has a big immigration problem. I thought his speech was very well received actually.
VP Vance meets with Zelenskyy in Munich: “We want the war to come to a close. We want the killing to stop, but we want to achieve a durable, lasting peace — not the kind of peace that’s going to have eastern Europe in conflict just a couple years down the road.”
VP Vance in Munich: “The threat that I worry the most about vis-a-vis Europe … is the threat from within — the retreat of Europe from some of its most fundamental values, values shared with the United States.”
TRUMP: “They mentioned dishwashers, and sinks, and showers… we’re going to get rid of those restrictions… People buy a house, they turn on the sink, and water barely comes out… It’s an unnecessary restriction.”
